You can search by course name, module name, or module convenor name to find individual lists
Use the Browse tab (along the top)
Once you click on the browse tab, click on IDS to view all courses.
Click on your course.
Click on the individual module list required.
Once you have found your list:
Readings appear in chronological / session order by default.
Use the icons on the right of each reading to access or find out more.
to access directly (articles and weblinks) - see further info below.
to access directly (e-books) - see further info below.
to check library location - see further info below.
to see table of contents (journal issues only)
Use the icons to the right of the module title to:
Change the list to alphabetical order (by title), or back again.
Filter the list by any ‘tags’ assigned (these appear under each reading, and provide further information about the reading).
Print the list.
to access articles directly: if the reading is hosted in Study Direct you will need to input your Study Direct name and password (only for the 1st one you access in your online session).
to access weblinks (freely available online papers, books, websites) directly:
to access e-books directly: you will need your IDS name and password (only for the 1st one you access in your online session).
this will tell you where in the library the book is shelved, and how many copies are available. If all copies are on loan, you will be given the option to Reserve this copy: you will need your BLDS username and password. Click on the title/book image: to go directly to the BLDS catalogue record (for items held at BLDS)
